Learn how to wire a ceramic lamp in this 2-hour workshop with David Hollingsworth. From traditional table lamps to illuminated sculptures, we will discuss how to design ceramics for successful lamp-making.

Learn to throw from the hump in this 2-hour workshop with Abbey Eaton. This technique is useful for throwing multiple pieces in one sitting, including small items and lids. This is a workshop for potters with experience. Being able to center is a prerequisite. Note: pieces will not be saved.

Let's dive into the process of creating music with clay! We're going to unlock the secrets of making whistles and ocarinas that work beautifully. Uncover how the size and position of the hole can change the pitch, and watch as adding more holes brings more notes into the mix.
Courses are 7 or 8 weeks long and meet once a week for 3 hours. For the beginner to the advanced, our classes are for all levels. Our faculty are accomplished ceramic artists who have a passion for sharing their knowledge and skills. View the class schedule »

Learn tips and techniques on what makes a bowl elegant yet functional. This is a hands-on workshop with plenty of demonstrations and explanations on how to throw a bowl that has a beautiful slope, sits level, feels balanced, and is neither bottom or top heavy.

Join us for an in-depth workshop on luster firing.
Expert ceramic artist, Lynn Goodman, will instruct a small group in all aspects of this amazing technique. In lusterware, liquid metal luster is applied over vitrified pieces that have already been glazed and fired. They then undergo a third special firing which results in a metallic iridescent final look.

Wheel Workshop: 6:30–8:30pm
Cost: $200 per couple
Try something new with someone you love. Enjoy a two hour workshop of guided instruction in either hand building or wheel throwing. No experience necessary. We will glaze your finished work of art and it will be ready for pick-up four to six weeks later.
Wine will be available to toast your Valentine.
