Pottery Classes

Courses are 7 or 8 weeks long and meet once a week for 3 hours. For the beginner to the advanced, our classes are for all levels. Our faculty are accomplished ceramic artists who have a passion for sharing their knowledge and skills.

Students learn the basic techniques or continue to advance their skills in wheel throwing, hand building, trimming, and glazing.

The cost for adult classes is $440 for 8 weeks, $385 for 7 weeks. This includes clay and glazes. Students provide their own tools, aprons and towels. Firing fees are invoiced on a monthly basis. The cost is 5 cents per cubic inch for each piece fired (covering both the bisque and glaze firing). Additional 4 hour practice sessions can be reserved by students at an additional cost.

Full payment is required at registration. There are no make-up classes. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
